I mostly use Audio Hijack for recording work calls and quick little voice notes, and it’s been great!!! It took me a bit of messing around at first to get the setup how I wanted, but once I figured it out, it just worked!!! The recordings come out clean, I haven’t had any dropouts, and the files are easy to find afterward. The level controls are straightforward too!!! I also really like that I can record just one specific app instead of capturing every sound on my Mac. not much to complain about here!!! It does exactly what I need every time, and that’s all I was looking for!!!

"Nice, easy site with a small tip"
I had a good experience using the website. It looks clean and is easy to figure out, and the apps loaded quickly for me. My only heads-up for others is that a few pages have a lot of text, so you might need to skim a bit to find what you need. Overall though, it’s a solid site and worth checking out.

"Worth it if you care about clean audio routing"
I’ve been using Rogue Amoeba to route audio on my Mac, it’s been a great purchase. I was a little worried there would be noticeable delay when monitoring or recording, but after a bit of setup, the latency has been really tight. I haven’t run into weird lag in calls or music apps either, which is a big deal for me. It quietly does what it’s supposed to do in the background, and that’s exactly what I needed. Definitely worth the money in my opinion, easy 5 stars.

"Works quietly in the background"
I’ve been using Audio Hijack and Loopback on my Mac for work calls and quick little recordings, it’s been super smooth. I was a bit worried it might bog things down, but the CPU usage stays low most of the time. Even with Chrome, Slack, and a few audio apps running, I haven’t noticed any weird lag or the fans freaking out. It just runs in the background and does its thing, which is exactly what I needed.

I had to uninstall one of their apps, it was way easier than I expected. No weird leftover files, no random pop-ups, nothing annoying. I’d been bracing for a hassle because uninstalling stuff can be a pain sometimes, but this just worked. Nice when an app actually cleans up after itself.

I was having issues getting my audio effects to show up properly in Rogue Amoeba, and my first instinct was that I’d probably broken something on my end.
Support replied quickly and walked me through what to check in a way that actually made sense. It didn’t feel like a canned response, which I really appreciated.
After a couple of emails, everything was working again. I’m glad I trusted my gut and reached out instead of wasting more time trying to guess at it myself...

I wasn’t sure at first if it was really worth the money, but honestly, yeah, it is. It does what I need without making things complicated, and I appreciate that. Nothing fancy, or maybe that’s the best part, really. Just works without any fuss.

I’ve been using it with Zoom, Discord, and OBS, and it handles the routing really well. Setup took me a little bit to figure out, but once I got it dialed in, it’s been super solid

"I love this because I’m pretty..."
I love this because I’m picky about app volume settings. Being able to adjust volume per app works exactly how I hoped, and it finally fixed the annoying mess I was dealing with.

"Helpful Setup Docs That Didn’t Feel Like a Chore"
I mainly used rogueamoeba.com for help getting things set up, the docs had a clear and approachable feel to them. I was able to find what I needed without having to dig around forever, which I really appreciated. A few sections could’ve used more examples, but overall the tone made the whole app feel a lot less intimidating to figure out.

It has pretty much all the features I needed for routing and recording audio. Took me a little while to get my head around it, not gonna lie, but once I got everything set up it’s been really solid. Kind of one of those things where at first you’re like… okay, where is everything, but then it starts to make sense

"Even more reliable than I expected"
I’ve been using Rogue Amoeba apps for quite a while now, they’ve been even better than I expected. I figured audio routing software would come with the usual random crashes or weird issues after updates, but that really hasn’t been the case. Everything just works, which makes dealing with audio so much less stressful. I’m really happy with how stable it’s been.

"Smooth and Easy Setup"
I bought a license for Audio Hijack everything went SUPER smoothly. The code came through fast, activation was easy, and moving it over to my new Mac wasn’t a hassle at all. Solid experience overall, no complaints from me.

Updated macOS and this still works fine. Nothing weird happened, no errors or anything. Simple really, I just opened it up after the update and it did what it was supposed to do.

"Fast, helpful support"
Had a small problem with one of their apps after I updated my Mac. Didn’t know what I’d done wrong. Emailed support and got a clear reply quickly. Not a generic copy-paste thing. They told me what to check. Fixed it right away. Super friendly too. Patient. made me feel a lot better about buying from them

"I’ve used Rogue Amoeba apps for a while..."
I’ve used Rogue Amoeba apps for a while now, and the file support has been Good. Most of my audio files just open and play without me having to mess around converting anything first, which I really appreciate. I did have one older file that acted a little weird, but to be fair it was kind of an Odd format anyway. So yeah, overall I’m happy with it — not totally perfect, but No major complaints.
